Block 2

If someone came to you for help because they were stuck when solving a problem in their POD folder what would you do to help them? How has someone else helped you when you have become stuck when problem solving?

  1. If someone came to me for help on pod I would help them work through the problem. When I go to other classmates, they always take the easy way out and just tell me the answer.

  2. LFB: What would that look or sound like? How does it make you feel when your classmates take the easy way out. Do you learn the concept that you are having trouble with?

If someone asked me for help I would ask what they are confused on and try to help but sometimes I have trouble too. But i do not give them the answer because they don't get anything out of it and it doesn't help you as a math person. I struggle with pods so I don't ask anyone because people just give you the answer and I don't like it because it doesn't help and I want to get better not worse.
Thank you Mrs. Rausch for the pods worksheets I will be working on them this week thank you so much. Happy Thanksgiving Mrs. Rausch. And Miss. Gregoire! See you guys on Monday!

  5. It should sound like people asking questions and talking about math. You normally dont learn the concept because you dont know how the person got the answer(understand how). You just copy it down.

  6. lnw: What if the person already has all of the facts down and they are still stuck? How could you help them on solving the POD?
