One way math is used outside of school is when you need to find out how much carpet you need for a room. Math is being used by createing a formula to calculate the area. BSC, I am hoping that my husband will use great Math skills when he tries to figure out how to hang our flat screen television on the wall. If he doesn't use his great Math skills then I think he will have to end up fixing the wall and pay for a new television. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
